Best of Tamil Film Music of the year 2005
It has now-a-days become mandatory to come up with a list of the year’s best in various fields. So, let me too do that over here with the list of what I feel was the best in the field of Tamil film music in the year 2005.
And the award for the best goes to...
Best Album - Pudhupettai (As I had mentioned in my PP review, this wins the competition hands down)
Best MD - Yuvan Shankar Raja (Is there really a doubt on this? The man has been on fire all year long)
Best Male playback singer - Shankar Mahadevan for Merke Merke in Kanda Naal Mudhal
Best Female playback singer - Shreya Gosal for Pani Thuli from Kanda Naal Mudhal (and many more wonderful songs like Andha Naal Nyabagam)
