Hi Filbert,

Nice attempt. Here in Chennai, it was a visual feast for all thalaivar fans. I somewhat managed to divert all news channels like CNN-IBN, NDTV, ZEE News towards our fans and made them to give their sound bite regarding superstar. Myself also appeared in CNN-IBN and NDTV live yesterday.

Herewith is the link of CNN-IBN. Let me find whether you can identify me.

Thanks for the link, Sundar. It was a nice short & sweet write-up about Thalaivar. And I am guessing you were the one who talked about Thalaivar's philanthropic side. (Or were you in the gang they showed at the end?)

Hi,

Did you notice thalaivar in fresh controvery over caste based remarks?

Seems like caste groups won't let him go of controversies.

What is this fresh controversy, Vignesh? No, I do not know about this. But its true that these caste groups can't stop using Thalaivar to get popular.

Its a rather inoccouse statement from thalaivar.

He mentioned actor Vivek is a brilliant and nerdy chap who can take on a variety of issues with an authority. And he is completely in awe of him.

He goes on to say, "people stereotype others based on caste, but its wrong to do that. Unless you are rich and famous, your own caste pple won't respect you".

Dir KB belongs to one caste, but he is very progressive and treats everyone with respect. From vivek's mannerisms I thought he is a brahmin kid, later i found out he is devar!"

No prizes for guessing, The media and Devar caste leader have abridged his talk and claim that thalaivar said the following "Vivek is so intelligent, at first I thought he must brahmin, only later I found out he was Devar!"

You see the drift/mischief?

let the caste war begin!

Its been few days since they took it up, I think media is ignoring this mischief, atleast I hope so. You can read the "mischeif" as cover story on kumudam reporter.

Thanks for posting the details of the incident. After your comment, I too read about an issue has been made out of a nothing remark. But like you said, the good thing the main stream media (except for Kumudam) is ignoring it and I am very happy about it.
